Windows Options

The City of London Corporation undertook extensive consultation. As part of this we held an online Question and Answer event at 7pm on Wednesday 24 November 2021 when the project team explained the options in more detail. You can watch a recording of the session using the above link and go directly to the questions that interest you. Please note that this event contained the same information as was presented at the drop-in session on 27th September 2021. It was undertaken to assist those residents who were unable to attend the drop in session. Below you can see the information that was presented at the drop in session.

the City of London Corporation, working with Crescent House residents and the Crescent House Resident’s Liaison Group, decided on vacuum glazing as the best long-term refurbishment option. Samples were ordered from two vacuum glazing manufacturers, Fineo, based in Belgium, and Landvac, based in China, to compare the quality of works, estimate delivery times, and predict potential costs.
